As you battle the swinging skeletons, you'll notice a blue frog on the ground. Just when you get to the point where you have the option to take PATH B (where you can jump on a log to head down a huge waterfall), jump across to the next platform and continue onward. Iris is found in Stage 4' (the second version of Stage 4). The Red Skeleton Walls block your path to a lot of the bonus items throughout different levels of the game. In return she gives you the ability to destroy Red Skeletons and Red Skeleton Walls. This will open up a new area where you can descend a flight of stairs and find Terra, eagerly awaiting her rescue. Instead of going through the door on the top, drop down below it and break the wall directly underneath.

Terra is found in Stage 3' (the second version of Stage 3) before you go through the first door of the level. You can select to play with Maria if you exit the level back to the menu. Maria will thenbe added to your playable list of characters in the main menu. Upon using the key, enter the new room and a small dialog sequence will play out. This is where you should use the key (like you would any other secondary weapon) next to the door. Keep the key in your secondary weapon slot and don't pick up any other weapons.Īfter escaping the Behemoth head down the first flight of stairs and fight your way to the locked door at the end of the area. When you find the "KEY" item in one of the candles, pick it up but do not use it. When being chased by the Behemoth in Stage 2, continually whip any candles in front of you while running away from it.
